Shepherd’s Pie INGREDIENTS 2 lbs potatoes (3-4 large) 1 stick butter 1 medium onion 1/2 cup each: diced carrots, corn, English peas 1 lb beef tips or ground sirlion 1/2 cup beef broth 1 teaspoon Worcestershire 1 teaspoon season salt Step by Step Instructions STEP 1Peel, cube and boil pototoes – about 20 minutes STEP 2Saute onion & vegetables in 4 Tablespoons butter – about 10 minutes STEP 3Cook beef, add Worcestershire and broth- simmer 10 minutes STEP 4Mash pototoes with remaining 4 Tablespoons butter. STEP 5Layer meat, then vegetables, then pototoes in 9×13 baking dish. STEP 6Bake 400 degrees about 30 minutes.
