STEP 1 Add whipping cream to mixing bowl and beat on medium, slowly adding sugar and vanilla. Beat until peaks form, then add mascarpone and mix just until combined. Set aside.
STEP 2 Mix coffee and liqueur in a shallow bowl. Quickly dip lady fingers (don’t soak) on both sides and lay them in a single layer on the bottom of an 8×8 dish.
.STEP 3 Smooth half of the whipping cream mixture over the top. Add another layer of dipped lady fingers. Top with layer of whipping cream mixture
STEP 4 Dust cocoa powder generously on top. (I use a mesh strainer to sift it over the top.
