Pasta & Basil Sauce

Any type pasta will work, fastest with capellini (angle hair pasta). 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. angel hair pasta
  • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 handful fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1.5 cups half & half cream
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan
  • salt and pepper

Step by Step Instructions

STEP 1
Melt butter over medium heat in large frying pan. Add olive oil and stir. Add garlic and cook for a minute or less. Be careful not to burn the garlic. Remove from heat.

STEP 2
Cook the pasta. Bring water to a boil, then add pasta, cook for 3-4 minutes. Drain.
STEP 3
Add cooked pasta to butter sauce. Stir half & half into pasta mixture. Sprinkle grated cheese, salt and pepper. Toss.
STEP 4
Serve immediately.
