NYT Blueberry Muffins


  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 t. baking powder
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1 t. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups blueberries


Step by Step Instructions


Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, add vanilla.

Sift flour, salt and baking powder together.

Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternately with the milk.

Crush 1/2 cup berries with fork and mix int0 batter. Fold in remaining whole berries.

Fill muffin cups, sprinkle with sugar. Bake 30 minutes.
