Apple Dutch Pancake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup flour
  • 3 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • 2 Tablespoons butterĀ 
  • 2 cups apples, sliced
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 Tablespoons butter

Step by Step Instructions

STEP 1
Preheat oven 400. Melt 2 Tablespoons butter in pie plate.

STEP 2
Combine milk, eggs, flour, sugar, salt and lemon peel in blender. Pour into melted butter pie plate and bake 25 minutes until puffy.
STEP 3
While pancake bakes, combine apples, sugar, cinnamon and butter over medium-low heat and simmer.
Pour into center of baked pancake when done.
