- 1 PKG Pepperidge Farm Herb Stuffing Mix
- 1/2 PKG Pepperidge Farm Cornbread Stuffing Mix
- 5-6 cups chicken broth
- 1 stick butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, minced
- 1 Tablespoon Poultry Seasoning
- 1 – 1/2 teaspoons sage
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 2 eggs, beaten
- OPTIONAL – 1/2 cup cooked, crumbled sausage
Saute onion, celery, bell pepper in butter till soft. Add seasonings and broth. Stir in bread mix.
Put in crockpot and cook on low for 3 hours.
